“Don’t marry a man or woman because they are Christians” – Rev. Eastwood Anaba

The founder and head pastor of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries, Reverend Eastwood Anaba, has warned Christian teenagers against picking a life partner only on the basis of their religious convictions. Choosing a spouse based solely on their religious beliefs is a dangerous mistake, argues the famous clergyman.

He made it clear that being a good Christian and having a healthy marriage are not synonymous.

“You are not allowed to marry a Christian guy or a Christian woman. A Christian lady will tell you that she wants to marry him because he loves the Lord, when you ask her why she thinks that is so. Asked this, many men would answer they want to marry the lady because she loves God and is devoted to her faith. However, a husband and a Christian are not synonymous terms. While he may believe in God, he does not believe in you,” Rev. Eastwood Anaba said in his sermon. It’s not enough to marry someone purely because of their religious convictions, says one of the most well-known televangelists.

“Oh, why are you interested in marrying him?” was his reaction. We’re both members of the same church. There is much more to a happy marriage than just that. Because she’s the right person for you to be with. Her reverence for the Lord’s name is evident. “Is it possible?” he asks. Preparing for marriage, Reverend Anaba advises couples to look for trust, open communication, companionship, and resources in their chosen spouses.
