Emmanuel Gyamfi must be banned for internationally doing this to Kotoko goalkeeper [Video]

In matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League at Dormaa Ahenkro, Emmanuel Gyamfi of Aduana Stars was not sent off after purposely stamping on the leg of Asante Kotoko goalie Fredrick Asare.

After the referee blew for a foul against him, the winger, a former Kotoko player, vented his rage on Kotoko’s goalkeeper.

Emmanuel Gyamfi was being closely guarded by Kotoko defender, Justice Blay, who became enraged when the whistle went for a foul and nearly stamped him twice. Later, the Aduana Stars winger fought with Justice Blay and flashed his hands in the air as the Kotoko defense got him under control.

Despite Gyamfi’s inappropriate behavior, the player was not punished. Many football fans have called for Gyamfi to be punished for his unsporting behavior in a video that has gone viral on social media. Gyamfi, who was unquestionably the best player on the pitch in the goalless draw between Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko, was named Man of the Match for his efforts. The Ghana Football Association must investigate his actions on the field against Asante Kotoko and impose any necessary punishment. Some Kotoko supporters believe the winger should be suspended for a set number of games.
