Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power and Ministry, has made a startling revelation on the nature of the relationship he formerly maintained with Ghana’s current president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. Owusu Bempah has revealed that he will no longer visit Nana Addo’s home since Nana Addo has undergone a rapid transformation.
The reason for this is because Owusu Bempah does not like the new Nana Addo. He related a proverb to me. “You can force a horse to a river, but you can’t compel it to drink water,” the proverb goes. “You can force a horse to a river.” This may imply that Owusu Bempah has been giving Nana Addo advice for some time now, but that Nana Addo is not yet ready to listen to what he has to say. “It is imperative that the current state of affairs in this country not be taken for granted. The folks in Nana Addo’s immediate environment are to blame. And on top of that, he is no longer paying attention to God. I used to be very close to him, and even now, whenever I talk to him, he listens, and as a result, the country makes strides forward. But now, I do not go to him anymore. No longer will I engage in conversation with him.
That in no way indicates that anything has taken place between the two of us “, as he added. Owusu Bempah stated unequivocally that he and Nana Addo had not engaged in a physical altercation or disagreement; yet, he stated that he nevertheless considers it necessary to put some distance between the two of them.
