Kylian Mbappe Stays at PSG.

Kylian Mbappe has reached a conclusion. According to Sports Journalist transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, arguably the best young prospect in all of world soccer will remain with Paris Saint-Germain rather than move to Real Madrid. Mbappe will likely sign a three-year contract with the Parisians.

Mbappe, 23 years old, has been the subject of intense speculation since last summer, when a deal to Real Madrid fell through and the former AS Monaco player was forced to play out the final year of his contract before becoming a free agent this summer.

The French sensation nearly led the Ligue 1 champions past Real in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 this season, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side threw it away at Santiago Bernabeu, which appeared to decide Mbappe’s future in favor of Los Blancos.

The La Liga champions, Real Madrid have advanced to the final and will now face Liverpool next weekend at Stade de France in the Parisian district of Saint-Denis.

Mbappe was named Ligue 1 player of the year for the third consecutive year and scored 36 goals last season. He has scored at least 30 goals in each of his last four seasons with PSG.

The news of Mbappe’s retention is monumental for PSG, who are aiming for European glory in the near future and went all-in last summer by signing Lionel Messi. The club may field Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar in the attack next season, when they will once again be among the favorites to win the UCL.
