Okudzeto Ablakwa Lands In Trouble After Making “False” Allegations Against The President(Read More)

Mr. Eugene Arhin, director of communications for the president, has responded to Okudzeto Ablakwa’s charges that President Akuffo had spent 4.1 million on his recent international travels. Eugene Arhin stated in a three-page document that what Okudzeto Ablakwa said against the president was completely incorrect and erroneous.

Eugene Arhin showed in the document that President Akuffo Addo did not go by private jet, as Okudzeto Ablakwa had claimed. Eugene Arhin asserts that the president traveled to Germany on a commercial airplane (Air France, AF0584). He stated that the plane departed Accra at 7:20 p.m. Eugene Arhin confirmed further that all twelve delegates who accompanied the president flew on a commercial airline. Eugene Arhin argues that, as a member of Parliament, he should always anticipate the truth and honesty, but Okudzeto Ablakwa appears to have changed his ways.

He stated, “These assertions by North Tongu MP are false, and as a member of parliament, I had hoped he would have been honest and truthful in his claims and resisted the impulse to engage in propaganda.”
