Honourable Yaw Adomako Baafi has now explained why he turned down President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s enticing position. According to him, Adomako Baafi informed Gabby Asare Otchere Darko that he dislikes the appointment. However, he appreciates the recognition.
Adomako Baafi elaborated that he turned down the position at the National Lottery Authority due to his membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church ( SDA).
“I am a role model in my church and cannot ruin my reputation as the head of the Lottery Authority. The Bible is opposed to Lotteries. At least I’ll be remembered as a principled individual who did not abandon his beliefs for financial gain “Adomako Baafi declared on live radio.
After his surrender, many praised him as a man of principle. However, some said that he was not being patriotic. This is because he has no reason to resist working for Ghana.
