Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu Tali, Deputy Managing Director of the Agriculture Development Bank and former chairman of the NPP Germany, has backed Vice President Dr. Mahanudu Bawumia as the most competent and appropriate candidate to lead the NPP into the 2024 election.
Alhassan Tali, speaking at the inauguration of newly elected executives for the NPP Chapter in Germany at an event in Frankfurt, appealed to the external branches of the NPP to rally support for the NPP so that it can surpass the eight in 2024 and continue its excellent activities for the benefit of all.
The previous chairman of the NPP in Germany praised Vice President Dr. Bawumia’s simplicity, humility, competence, and popularity, all of which will benefit the NPP in 2024 and beyond.
The NPP is an offshoot of the Dombo- Danquah- Busia heritage, and Alhaji Tali feels that Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy will increase the NPP’s popularity, esteem, and appeal.
In addition, the Deputy Managing Director urged diasporans to continue their financial and in-kind support of the NPP.
He addressed the audience that the Nana/Bawumia government was performing well despite the consequences of Covid-19 and the Russian/Ukrainian war on world economies.
