Jean Louis had three children, Vincent Pauline and Marie Trintignant; Pauline died in a crib death while Marie was able to make a name for herself by acting alongside her father in the French cinema.
However, Marie was killed by her boyfriend, singer Bartrand Cantat in a hotel room in Vilnius, Lithuania. Marie died at the age of 41.
